K & J spent a stint on Lanai (a smaller Hawaiian island less-frequented by the onslaught of tourism) to exchange vows. We wanted to bring as much honesty to their documentation as possible by representing Hawaii through a new perspective, all on the sweet surface of analog film.
By happenstance, K & J won a trip to the Four Seasons on Lanai, thus sparking their adventure to this beautiful island. It’s the only luxury hotel on the island, and by surprise, we were able to stay at the Four Seasons to document their elopement. Our overall review of the Four Seasons Lanai was nothing short of perfection – the staff truly went above and beyond for K & J, and even for us as their elopement photographers. We particularly loved snorkeling along the private coastline, tasting some of the best sushi ever at Nobu, and K & J experienced top-notch relaxation at their luxury wellness hotel, Sensei Lanai. As one of the only Lanai island hotels, it’s worth a trip.
