Yeah, it would be tough for me too. So here’s my 2 cents – Put yourself in future-self’s shoes at your elopement. Close your eyes (yes, really) and use your imagination to envision yourself on that day. What are you wearing? Do you feel the sun warm your skin? Are you holding a mug of mulled wine with the snow falling outside your cabin? Are you hearing the sound of a rushing waterfall as you say your vows? Get as detailed as possible, and maybe that’ll guide you closer to your decision.

Arguably one of the most difficult (but exciting!) decisions to make when you’re planning your Asheville elopement. The Blue Ridge has no shortage of places to get married, and in Asheville, there’s something for everyone. So really it comes down to preference and the kind of experience you want to have.

Campground Ceremony

Mile High Campground in Cherokee, NC
Reserve a large group campsite (highly recommend Mile High Campground) and a couple of camper vans and have everyone stay on site with you. Get married around the bonfire, take some couples photos at Soco Falls, see an elk or two, and close out the night with an even bigger bonfire.
